Job Title:  Digital Marketing Strategy Director/Director of Digital Marketing

Position: Full Time – 40 hours

The Digital Client Strategy Director will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing and managing the overall digital marketing strategy for several clients from multiple industries – ecommerce, manufacturing, financial, construction, and more. A skilled digital client strategist should have extensive knowledge of and experience with digital ecosystems and be able to implement digital marketing strategies that result in client success. The new person should be an outstanding team member with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, plan, develop and manage overall digital marketing strategies and scope for our clients.
  • Develop and manage client relationships by being responsive to their overall digital marketing strategy needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and other team members as a bridge between internal team and client for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Help team members by communicating with clients and internally to remove blockers.
  • Work within our task management system and master client strategy documents.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Work with the President and team members to estimate project costs and prepare client quotes.
  • Proactively reach out to clients and build lasting relationships with a focus on lifetime client satisfaction
  • Absorb the clients’ business models and offer value-driven ideas.
  • Support the SEM/SEO team to develop culturally relevant and impactful campaigns that connect with our clients’ goals.
  • Assist in onboarding of new clients after Sales closes the deal; setup internal syncs between sales and project managers to ensure alignment.
  • Coordinate and host introductions and orientation calls between account teams and clients.
  • Create pitch decks and presentation materials for clients.
  • Up-sell clients once areas of opportunity are identified that will yield further client success/satisfaction.
  • Help account teams navigate tough conversations with clients; conflict resolution, mediation, and beneficial offers to retain clients

 

Qualities and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in marketing, online digital strategy, website design/development implementation, digital media, lead generation, SEO/SEM, and marketing, or similar.
  • Keen desire to develop and manage marketing strategies for our clients.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent client-facing, interpersonal and communication skills; strong organizational and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of e-commerce and CMS platforms such as WordPress, BigCommerce, Google Business Suites, Slack and other technologies.
  • Excellent understanding of digital practices such as SEO, SEM, SMO, and PPC.
  • Ability to keep up to date with consumer and marketing trends and advancements in technology.
  • Ability to connect quickly with clients and team members to build lasting relationships.
