Now, let’s hear some parts of our favorite conversations from past episodes. The point that I would emphasize is exactly what I said earlier, and that is to let go, which is a, believe it or not, which is a key tenant of the entrepreneurial operating system, the EOS system, is letting go and allow people to step up. Allow them to step, allow your team to step up and do the things that they’re capable of.
(1:39 – 1:56)
You might need a little assistance, but they’re capable of doing, and that will free up the owner, the entrepreneur, and make their life a lot easier, a lot more enjoyable. I would just like to say that we’re always listening and paying attention. I think fan feedback is at the core of what drives our content strategy.
(2:02 – 2:20)
We read the comments. We talk to fans every single night when I’m in an arena. I want to go talk to a number of fans. Where are they from? Are they celebrating something? How often are they here? What are they observing, right? And certainly with social media, fans will tell you what they think, but I think it’s amazing. I mean, you’re saying you’re like, I read the emails. I get the push notifications.
(2:23 – 2:38)
I watch the content. We absolutely love that. And we love to hear what people really love and what they don’t like. And we’re honestly always trying to cater and deepen our relationship with them. It’s like, I use an analogy, like you have a starfish stuck to your face, right? Or literally, if you’re too close to it, you can’t, you can’t see it.
(2:41 – 3:09)
And that’s the beauty of just advisors or consultants, just generally speaking, when you have the willingness and the kind of the willingness and the open mindedness to be a little bit vulnerable and to allow someone else in, right? That’s not part of your day to day operations, right? That may not know you and your business very well, just to bring that outside perspective, because they’re going to see things and hear things that you or someone in your organization, because, right, you’re down in the weeds, so to speak, that’s not going to be readily visible.
(3:12 – 3:35)
And so that that in itself is like the most beautiful. That’s what makes the jumping off point so fun. And then from there, from there, the opportunities are endless. Yep. No, that’s a great example. So if you’re thinking in terms of roles, you know, I have these five roles in my business. Which one can I replace with AI? It’s almost certainly none of them. Right. So like a lot of times the bad taste some people have in their mouth will be that they tried to wholesale replace a single role and it’s the tech’s not there.
(3:41 – 4:00)
Right. However, each one of those roles can be broken up into various workflows that those people do. And sometimes a workflow will cross across multiple roles. And there are a lot of examples of workflows where we can automate, you know, either the entire workflow or automate a lot of it with a human review step at a couple of points along the way. Yes. Right now, leaders, I’m talking to you.
(4:04 – 4:19)
You need to give your people time. You need to give them time together, learning together, whether you’re teaching them or you bring someone like us to come in and teach them, they need 10 hours of organized time where they’re learning. And this has been shown consistently for the last few years.
(4:23 – 4:32)
You only need about 10 hours. So we have a 10 hour class that we teach to. And when your people are in a place learning together, then they also need a time or place to share their ideas.
(4:36 – 4:39)
